Carina Diedericks Hugo is an Afrikaans author, editor and media manager best known for the popular Thomas@ series and books including Permanente Ink, Operasie M.I.A.A.U, Koning Henry and Karaktermoord. Her work spans children and youth literature as well as writing for adults. She has extensive experience in publishing, editing, translation and writing workshops, and regularly visits schools to encourage a love of reading. Her books have received the ATKV Kinderboektoekenning six times. She lives in Stellenbosch and continues to work across writing, editing and media.
