Dr Nokuthula Mazibuko Msimang is an award winning writer and researcher whose work draws on her journalism background to explore social and political issues in South Africa. She received the 2022 South African Literary Chairperson’s Award for her body of work, which includes The Daughters of Nandi and several children’s books. Her recent work includes Dolly Rathebe: Queen of African Jazz, Blues and Mbaqanga, published by Xarra Books in 2024.
