Iran In Crisis?

Since the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, Iran has become by default the Middle East’s last remaining significant power apart from Israel. Yet Iran feels deeply insecure. President George W. Bush has dubbed it part of the ‘axis of evil’. His administration has accused it of supporting pro-Taliban elements in Afghanistan and of interfering in post-Saddam Iraq. Israel has threatened to take out any nuclear facilities with weapons potential.
